The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and its 30,000 occupational safety, health and environmental professional members are urging everyone to participate in North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week the first week of May 2006. Focusing on increasing safety awareness and accident prevention in all workplaces, NAOSH Week is supported by safety professionals, employees, corporations and the public throughout the U.S. and abroad.
Event: North American Occupational Safety and Health Week (NAOSH) Description: The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) urge everyone to participate in NAOSH week, which is aimed at increasing the focus of employers, employees and the general public on preventing injury and illness in the workplace.
Date: April 30-May 6, 2006 The national kick-off will be Monday, May 1 at the U.S. Department of Labor in D.C.
