A Message from PRIMA's Executive Director About PRIMA's Membership Structure
 

Dear PRIMA Member:

 

As you know, PRIMA recently asked its membership to approve several changes to its bylaws, including a change to the membership structure.  The membership approved these changes and they became effective on June 4, 2008.

 

In an effort to provide opportunities for more public sector risk managers to become involved in PRIMA, as well as increase public entity membership in the association, PRIMA has expanded its Government category to allow Government members to have up to three votes in the affairs of the association, provided the entity pays government membership dues for each designated representative.  What does this mean to you? You can add up to two additional representatives from your entity. In addition to voting rights, designated voting members are allowed to serve on PRIMA's board of directors as well as in other leadership roles within the association.
