PRIMA Risk and Recreation Workshops Come to the Southeast in May!

PRIMA's premier workshop series brings three classes to the Southeast next month!


The Risk and Recreation series kicks off with the Risk and Roads Workshop on Wednesday, May 21 in Chapel Hill, NC. This workshop will teach you the liabilities and risks associated with your roads and sidewalks and the steps you can take to properly deal with these challenges and improve the operation of your department. Register by Wednesday, May 7 to qualify for the "Early Bird" rate of $149 for PRIMA members and $169 for non-members.  After the 7th of May, the regular registration rate of $169 for PRIMA members and $189 for non-members will apply.
 

Double Duty in Virginia!


PRIMA's What You Need to Know About Signs Workshop comes to Woodbridge, VA on Wednesday May 28. Co-sponsored by Prince William County, this workshop is just what you need if you are interested in improving current or proposed signage in your community's park or recreation areas. Participants will learn the fundamentals of effective signage and just how properly designed and worded signs can address risk management goals. 


On Thursday, May 29, instructor Doug Wyseman will present another Risk and Roads Workshop, this time in Woodbridge.


Register for either of the Woodbridge, VA workshops by Wednesday, May 14 and qualify for the "Early Bird" rate of $149 for PRIMA members and $169 for non-members.  After the 14th of May, the regular registration rate of $169 for PRIMA members and $189 for non-members will apply. If you register for both the May 28 and May 29 workshops, you receive $10 off each session for a total savings of $20!
