PRIMA Offers Its First-Ever Enterprise Risk Management Track in Anaheim!
Enterprise risk management (ERM) is the talk of the town lately. Entities both large and small are trying to figure out where this new practice of risk management fits into the overall structure of their organization.
At the 2008 PRIMA Annual Conference, you can attend an educational track devoted to the practice of ERM in the public sector. This track is the first of its kind at PRIMA's Annual Conference! Sessions at PRIMA's 2008 Annual Conference include:
- Skills Development in ERM for the Public Sector: How do you actually acquire the skills and knowledge needed to embed ERM in your organization? In an interactive, practical and lively session, attendees will learn the skills and competencies needed to succeed as well as educational options available.
- Aligning Risk Management With Your Entity's Goals & Strategies: Whether you are working toward ERM or not, it is wise to be sure that the goals of risk management are in synch with your entity's. Taking it a step further, risk management should also be in support of and in alignment with your entity's strategic initiatives. How do you accomplish that? This session will answer these questions and help you move your risk management program - and your entity - forward.
