ALEXANDRIA, VA—The Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA) is pleased to announce the election of its 2007-2008 president-elect and new board members.
Sarah Perry, ARM, has been elected president-elect--a position she will hold until June 2008, at which time she will become PRIMA president. Most recently, Perry served as a director on PRIMA’s board. Perry is the risk manager for the City of Columbia in Missouri. She has spent 10 years in public entity risk management and nearly 30 years in insurance, loss control, and related fields.
Active in the Association for 10 years, Perry has served as PRIMA’s Annual Conference committee chair as well as participated in the Education and PRIMA Institute committees. Perry also held key positions within the PRIMA Missouri chapter including president. She currently sits on the board of the Missouri chapter.
“I am honored to be PRIMA’s 2007-2008 president-elect,” said Perry. “I look forward to giving back to an organization from which I have received so much. I hope to offer the kind of knowledge, support and wonderful networking that has made my success as a public entity risk manager possible.”
