The Public Risk Management Association (“PRIMA”) announced today that it has accepted the resignation of its Executive Director James Hirt. The PRIMA Board of Directors plans to begin the search process immediately for a successor.
Mr. Hirt joined PRIMA in 2000 and became Executive Director in 2001. “The Board is extremely appreciative of the many years of service Jim gave to PRIMA and for his numerous accomplishments,” said PRIMA President James E. Huckaby. “We wish him the best of success in his future endeavors.”
PRIMA is a national not-for-profit association that provides public risk management education, information, and advocacy for nearly 2000 members representing counties, cities, schools, states, park districts, transit authorities and water districts.
